Manage J.U.S.T. Training Corp. to meet its mission and goals on an annual basis within the context and means of the fiscal operational budget and provide exceptional client services.


  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience would be an asset.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel throughout the service area.
  • 3-5 years proven administration skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, teamwork, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, and training staff.
  • Familiar with non-profit organizations governed by Board of Directors.
  • Demonstrated proficiency working in Microsoft 365 – Word, Excel, Outlook and Data Base Management.
  • Experience with budgeting and development of cash flows.
  • 2-4 years experience bookkeeping and understanding of financial statements.
  • Experience using Sage/Simply Accounting an asset.
  • Competent preparing meeting notices, agendas, meeting minutes and activity reports.
  • Extensive experience interviewing individuals.
  • Experience writing proposals.


  • Assist clients with career counseling services and develop realistic employment action plans.
  • Develop funding proposals to secure training for clients to become more marketable for employment opportunities.
  • Assist clients to learn how to write resumes, cover letters and prepare for a job interview.
  • Provide clients with information related to labour market needs and training opportunities.
  • Negotiate eligible skills training supports where warranted & monitor client progress.
  • Supervise and mentor staff employment counselors.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations and employers to link unemployed individuals to the resources that meet community and provincial labour market needs.
  • Administration of the Corporation, Bookkeeping duties, Client Services and Marketing & Visibility.
  • Report to the JUST Training Board on a regular basis.
  • Prepare annual contract proposal requesting funding for the organization from government.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30-4:30.
Salary ranges from $40,000.00 to $45,000.00 based on experience.
